Hi — I’m Katie Campbell, a painter based in Kansas City, Missouri. I’ve been making art since I was a kid, but this studio is something new and intentional. I opened it this year after deciding there’s no time like the present to finally pursue the work I’ve always wanted to do.

My work centers on light on water: sunsets over rocky shores, sun-dappled paths, sparkling waves, and large, textured abstracts. They all spring from the same source — those quiet outdoor moments that make you pause and take notice.

I work in acrylic and oil and love to build texture: thick, sculpted brushstrokes you can see and feel from across the room. Every piece is hand-painted and signed.

I also accept commissions. If you have a special place, a favorite view, or a particular color palette in mind, I’d be happy to create something made just for you.
